Book review: Rebound by Aga Lesiewicz
Rebound is an addictive thriller, one that will have you turning the pages to the final chapter. Anna Wright is a beautiful TV executive, working in a highly competitive environment. She has to be tough to survive, especially when they announce there will be restructuring. Recently split from her boyfriend, Anna de-stresses by running with her dog, Wispa, in the Heath. But one day when she is running, she meets a handsome stranger. Their lives intersect in the most brutal and intimate of ways, and Anna’s growing obsession with this stranger will have terrible consequences.
This is a novel that becomes increasingly dark and atmospheric, and Anna’s life as she knows it falls dramatically apart. Taut writing and a compelling, if unlikeable main character, make this a heart-palpitating read.
